Hi,
Myself and a friend will be traveling to Copenhagen this Winter, however our bus gets into Copenhagen at 5am and we can’t get to our hostel until that night. Is there anywhere in Copenhagen to go/do for a warm coffee/drink at 5am in December?

Cafesius
Rosenorns Alle 32

Copenhagen

Tel: +45 35 35 64 63

You will find Cafesius just after you have crossed over the lakes to Frederiksberg. It is situated next to the big, famous Forum hall and the Broadcasting House. This place is not just an ordinary cafe, but also a French/Danish-inspired restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and a great combination of people come here (mainly locals and people going to attend events at the Forum). If you like to have a choice of many sorts of coffees, this is one of the places to go as they have Indonesian, Mexican and Jamaican varieties. If you are hungry, they can offer a well-assorted menu with many delicious meals and it is possible to get a cheap but really good dinner here.
Det Elektriske Hjorne
Store Regnegade 12

Copenhagen, 1110

Tel: +45 3313 9192

Don’t be fooled by the facade of this 100-year old building. Inside, it’s a totally different world. With youngsters and older people, a lively ambiance is what you get at Det Elektriske Hjorne. This place offers some really innovative cocktails. You can even have drinks specially made for you - as per your tastes and preferences. For the past 17 years, this place has been a popular hangout for many. It is one of the few places in the city that caters to such a diverse crowd.
Out of Juice
Frederiksborggade 5

Copenhagen, 1360

Tel: +45 33 93 1147

You will find the cafe-bar Out of Juice on Frederiksborggade, the street between Norreport Station and Kultorvet. The atmosphere is pleasant, and you can sit by the window in comfortable chairs and enjoy the view of the busy street. Out of Juice is mainly visited by shoppers, and in the evening young people drop by for the cheap drinks. During the day they serve delicious coffee and hot chocolate, and there are many kinds to choose from. On the menu there is a selection of sandwiches and cakes as well. In the evening you can choose from at least ten different kinds of shots, and pay DKK100 for ten.
